I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break and is well rested for the CRCT!!

Remember, testing begins Monday. Your child will need to have two #2 pencils each day. Thank you to all of the parents that have volunteered to send in healthy snacks for next week.  We have worked very hard all year so the class is anxious to show what they know. The year is going so fast!!

BE ON TIME!!
Testing begins first thing every morning next week. If your child is tardy, they will be taken to the Media Center until testing is completed. No one will be allowed to come into the class late and interrupt testing.

BE WELL RESTED!!
Not only do I recommend going to bed at a good time on Sun., I also recommend going to bed at a good time on Sat. , as well. Your child being able to be at their best Monday morning makes it all worthwhile!!!

Schedule Changes

As you've probably already heard from your children, one of our Specials' rotations is now Spanish. We also go to the Writing Lab every morning, 8:05 - 8:55. The class is concentrating on persuasive writing and learning to use transitional words effectively.

However, we will not be attending Writing Lab this Thursday. So, I thought this would be a great morning to allow the kids to graph football statistics and have a special snack. Mrs. Whalen could not believe the high interest level of our class in college and professional football this fall.

Thursday, Feb. 8 is the day to wear your favorite football jersey and to be ready to compare and chart the stats!
