Parent to Parent (P2P) is Georgia's Parent Training and Information Center and Family to Family Health Information Center. We provide training throughout the state to help families become better advocates for their children. The following events are scheduled for the month of December.

The agencies that are sponsoring the Thanksgiving and Christmas help event have added additional sign-up dates for any families that missed it the first time around. The new flyer is below.

We are having a food drive for the Calvary Children's Home. Please consider donating food or other personal items as listed on the flyer. We will be collecting food and other items between September 27th - October 18th.

The "Success for all Students" Program will be hosting two free parenting classes at Tapp Middle School! Parents from all schools are invited to attend. Free childcare is available if needed. For more information, including how to register, please see the attached flyers.

The Center for Family Resources along with Cobb DFCS is once again offering assistance to needy families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They will provide food baskets at Thanksgiving and toys for children at Christmas. The Salvation Army also has an Angel Tree Program that can provide financial assistance to families for various reasons. School is off to a great start! The children are settling into our routine after reading Mouse Goes to Preschool last week. This week we are reading In My Backpack, written by a Cobb County Speech Therapist. We are learning to identify basic school vocabulary such as marker, crayon, backpack, etc. Below you will find a link to the book.
Also, below is one of our songs the children really enjoy!
