We are half way through the first nine weeks and are off to a great start! Progress reports will go home next Wednesday.
Math: We will begin multiplication next week. Please make sure your child is practicing his/her multiplication facts every night!
Reading: Continue to read every night for at least 30 minutes and complete the reading log.
Science: We are studying weather forecasting, weather instruments, and clouds.
Spelling: Next week we will be on Sort 6. The spelling contract is a great way to practice writing the words. This is to be completed every week and the students should be earning 100 points each week. Your child may work on this at home if needed. If they do not have their spelling folder, the words are on the Fourth Grade Blog and there is a link below for the list of spelling assignments.

TAKE HOME FOLDERS: Please remember to look for 'Take Home Folders' every Friday. Please sign the page on the inside of the folder and return it the following Monday. Any corrected work needs to be returned the following Monday!
