Science: We have started learning about the Water Cycle. The students will have a quiz on vocabulary words (evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and water cycle) and will need to label the parts of the water cycle on Friday. Look for the study guide to come home Tuesday, August 23rd.
Math: Place value to millions. Look for homework to come home this week (Monday-Thursday) to reinforce what we have done in class!
Reading: Guided Reading groups will start next week. This week we are completing running records and DRA's.
Social Studies: Landforms, Economics, and Map Skills
Spelling: We began spelling sort #2 Friday and will have a spelling test this Friday (Aug. 26th).
