Volunteers Needed

I am looking for volunteers to work in our classroom, either to tutor in the morning from 7:50 to 8:30, or during Literacy Centers from 10:30 to 11:10.  I will have all the materials ready for you, so you do not need to plan anything.  If you can volunteer during either or both of those times, please let me know which days and times work for you.  And if you cannot volunteer, maybe a grandparent, aunt/uncle, or cousin might have some time, so feel free to ask them.  Thanks!

new blog information

Dear Parents, our principal, Mrs. Crommett, asked that we share the following information with you:

Parents:
The service that we use to automatically notify you when the blog is updated has changed their terms of service in such a way that an ad will begin showing up at the bottom of the email that comes to you.  Your email address is still not being shared with anyone other than the school.  The mere placement of advertising in school communications is of concern to us, especially since we have no control over what the ad may be.  We are exploring other means of providing this service to you at this time.  For now, we ask your patience as we work through the concern.  In the meantime, if you receive an ad that is objectionable to you, we would appreciate your notifying the school, and holding onto it so that it may be forwarded to the proper personnel.

2007 - 2008 Specials Schedule

Students attend specials on a seven day rotation.  Here is our schedule for this year:

Day 1:  Computer with Mrs. Strong

Day 2:  Spanish with Mrs. Diaz

Day 3:  P.E. with Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. Glendon

Day 4:  Art with Mrs. Glover

Day 5:  P.E. with Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. Glendon

Day 6:  Music with Mrs. Rowland

Day 7:  P.E. with Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. Glendon
