Email notification when blogs are updated

Parents
The service that we use to automatically notify you when the blog is updated has changed their terms of service in such a way that an ad will begin showing up at the bottom of the email that comes to you.  Your email address is still not being shared with anyone other than the school!  The mere placement of advertising in school communications is of concern to us, especially since we have no control over what the ad may be.

We are exploring other means of providing this service to you at this time.  For now, we ask your patience as we work through the concern.  In the meantime, if you receive an ad that is objectionable to you, we would appreciate your notifying the school, and holding onto it so that it may be forwarded to proper personnel.

HAPPY JUMPING!

Are you ready for JRFH?  This year our event will be held on October 17th during the day. Each grade level will jump together for approximately 35 minutes.  Watch for your paperwork to come home explaining all the details.

Springville Sprint

Don't forget to sign up for the First Baptist Church Springville Sprint. Last year Varner came in 1st place for attendance. If you didn't get a registration form, come ask me in PE. The event is Saturday, September 15 1 mile run at 8:00 AM and 3 mile run and walk at 8:30 AM. After you do your walk/run there is a pancake breakfast! Student Teacher

We are so excited to have Mr. Cook  join us to do his student teaching.  He will be with us from the end of February to the end of April.  Mr. Cook was with us last year two days a week.

One month from today, Varner will have their annual Jump Rope For Heart (JRFH) on February 14th. All grade levels will jump during the day.  Check back for specific times.
