Friday was the 100th day of school! We celebrated with four, 100 based, centers. We rolled a HUGE ball die and counted out the spaces on a hundred chart until we reached 100. We made self portraits of what we will look like when we are 100 years old (Come take a peek at them during the PTA meeting on Thursday night). We wrote stories about what we would buy if we had $100 and we made a 100 Day crown that had 10 sets of ten. We also had a snack that all the students contributed to. It was a lot of fun!
The book fair is coming up next week. Our class will preview books on Monday and will bring home a wish list. The book fair will also be open during the PTA meeting on Thursday evening if you would like to take your child and help them pick out a book. I hope to see you there.
