Hi everyone!!! The students are doing great with their research! They amaze me everyday!!!Thanks for all you do and please encourage your child to work carefully, read all the directions on his/her paper, be an active listener, and do his/her personal best.  :)

Coming up at Varner

Principal's Breakfast Rescheduled): Friday, January 27,2012                                               

One student from each class is invited to have breakfast with  Dr. Adeli. The students have shown the Varner Life Skills in action.

Spirit Day: Friday, January 27, 2012.

Wear your Varner t-shirt current or previous years. The classes with the most participation will win a prize. We now have long sleeve Varner t-shirts for $15.00. Order forms are on the PTA website.  www.cobbk12.org/Varner/  ( Click on the PTA link.)

Scholastic Book Fair (Setup): Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:00pm. Love books? Volunteer to help at the Book Fair. You can decorate and set up, help kids select books, work on refreshments, give a book talk, or help pack up. There are lots of ways to  participate. Please contact Laura Shyman or stop by the book fair. laura518@my.tupperware.com The book fair dates are:  January 30 - February 3, 2012.  

  Looking Ahead

 Dressing Through The Decades: Thursday, February 2, 2012.  Students may dress up in decade attire (40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's).  The cost will be $1.00.  All proceeds will benefit the Varner Relay for Life team. Students and parents can also come to the PTA meeting on February 2, 2012 to see a teacher fashion show of their decade wear.
