1st graders are assessed on their knowledge of the high frequency words throughout the year.
The goals are as follows:
1st nine weeks-Student can automatically read 50 or more words
2nd nine weeks-Student can automatically read 100 or more words
3rd nine weeks-Student can automatically read 150 or more words
4th nine weeks-Student can automatically read 190 or more words
