We got our first initial testing done this week. The CoGat is done and put away. Next week we will begin subject testing with the ITBS test. This is a bit more intensive, taking longer each day. Please make sure your children get a good night's rest and has a fillling breakfast. Because of testing taking more time out of our day, we will not be assigning spelling words next week. We will try to keep homework down to a minimum.
The children are excited about their writing pieces. Some children are doing a creative writing project with Mrs. Landmon, while others are writing poems about Fall with Mrs. Bolduc. We will be displaying both on our hall walls for all to enjoy.
We sent home picture envelopes today. You may send in payment beforehand or wait until the 20th. All of the children will get their pictures taken for the yearbook, so everyone look pretty! :)
Our Fall Festival is next Saturday. Mrs. Thompson sent home a flier today in the children's Friday Folders. If you can help by volunteering to work the booth during our class's time or would like to send in a cake, please fill in the bottom portion and send it back. We hope to see all you at the festival. You'll have to check out Mrs. Landmon's booth!
