One of the parents heard from last night's meeting that students can bring in medications needed for the Tybee trip to their teacher. Per Cobb County Policy, only parents can transport medications to and from school unless they had written permission from their dr. on file (epipens, diabetic meds, inhalers). Please, to clear up any confusion, place this information on your blogs. Also, if you receive any controlled medications for the trip (i.e. ADD/ADHD ), they need to be counted upon arrival and recounted before given back to the parent. All pills have to be accounted for.
